Admiral's Pointe Resident Talks Love of Dogs

May 1, 2020
Huron, Ohio - On this week's "roll the dice," we would like to highlight Admiral's Pointe resident Deb.

Deb has a large heart for animals. When asked what her favorite animal was she mentioned her dog, Mandy. Deb has owned multiple dogs in her life. When she reflected on the memories with her dogs, it brought an instant smile to her face.

Being able to love and care for animals is a blessing. It is believed that animals help humans heal from multiple ailments, anything from a broken leg to a broken heart. Admirals Pointe is lucky to have a facility dog, Shadow. The residents love to spend time with him, playing and giving him treats. Here at Admirals Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation, we see first hand how animals can truly enhance our mindset and psychosocial needs!
